The Paralegal at Westgate Resorts plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive legal and administrative support to the Inventory Management and Developer Services teams. This position focuses on managing governing documents, Public Offering Statement (POS) filings, Homeowners Association (HOA) matters, compliance, property registrations, and contract documentation. The Paralegal ensures the accuracy, consistency, and timely execution of all legal documentation and operational filings across multiple Westgate properties.

Key responsibilities include reviewing, organizing, and maintaining all governing documents such as POS, amendments, exhibits, declarations, bylaws, and rules & regulations. The Paralegal assists in preparing and coordinating POS updates, state filings, registration renewals, and supporting documentation, ensuring all documents remain accurate and aligned across multiple properties. Additionally, the role involves serving as a liaison between Inventory/Developer Services and external legal counsel, assisting with deed research, contract documentation, and clarification of ownership issues as needed.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3–5 years of legal or paralegal experience, preferably in real estate, timeshare, or property development. A Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is required, with a Certified Paralegal (CP) designation preferred. Strong understanding of governing documents, POS structures, deed research, and regulatory filings is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Adobe, SharePoint) is essential, along with excellent organizational and document management abilities.

Compensation for this full-time position starts at $56,000 annually.
