Paralegal (Temporary)

LG Electronics is seeking a temporary Paralegal to join its US Legal team for a six-month assignment at the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a global leader in technology, renowned for its innovative solutions and commitment to high ethical standards.

The Paralegal will provide legal support to marketing teams, reviewing and advising on advertising, promotions, and marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include assessing evidence for claim substantiation, preparing disclaimers and disclosures, reviewing marketing-related contracts, drafting sweepstakes and contest rules, and supporting brand protection initiatives. The role also involves conducting legal research, staying updated with current laws and regulations, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and legal risk management practices.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate and have over five years of relevant legal experience. Strong project management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. In-house legal experience is preferred, and the position requires on-site work at the Englewood Cliffs, NJ location.

The recruiting range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 USD. Temporary employees are eligible for relevant benefit programs offered through partner agencies.
