As a Paralegal, Legal Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company's operations are compliant and efficient, enabling Waymark to deliver innovative care solutions. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be instrumental in scaling the legal infrastructure and serving as a key resource for internal teams on routine legal matters and process improvements.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include managing corporate filings, monitoring business licensing, patents, trademarks, and registrations, and maintaining corporate records. You will also be responsible for organizing and updating legal and compliance-related documents, templates, policies, and procedures. Implementing an agile legal intake process to manage legal requests and reviewing vendor contracts are also essential aspects of this position. Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments to resolve issues and conduct state and federal regulatory research to support Waymark's Medicaid business.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm or in-house legal department. A strong ability to drive projects forward independently, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency with legal technology tools are essential. Experience in a startup environment and advanced proficiency in automating legal workflows are preferred. A solid understanding of healthcare regulatory laws is also important for this role.

Compensation for this position varies by location. For U.S. employees in San Francisco/Bay Area and New York City, the hourly rate ranges from $38.80 to $44.00. In Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Washington D.C., the range is $35.70 to $40.50. Other locations have corresponding rates, with a comprehensive benefits package offered in addition to salary.
