OSS Senior Consultant
The OSS Senior Consultant at UltraViolet Cyber is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, India, within the company's Offensive Security Services team. UltraViolet Cyber is a leading platform-enabled unified security operations company that provides comprehensive security solutions to Fortune 500, federal government, and commercial clients. The company focuses on integrating red and blue team operations to deliver real-time cybersecurity services.
In this role, the consultant is responsible for executing and delivering project milestones that assist clients in understanding and applying secure software development methodologies. Key responsibilities include secure code analysis and review, software and network penetration testing, architecture security analysis, threat modeling, secure software design and engineering, software reverse engineering, red team analysis, database security analysis, and cloud penetration testing across platforms like AWS and Azure.
Candidates should have 2.5 to 4 years of experience in software security, with technical skills in web application penetration testing, familiarity with software security weaknesses and vulnerabilities, experience in source code review, network penetration testing, and proficiency in at least one scripting language. Consulting skills such as client interfacing, autonomous task completion, adherence to schedules, and strong written and verbal communication are essential. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is required, with a Master's Degree preferred. Relevant certifications like CISSP, CRTP, CRTO, OSCP, PNPT, CEH, OSWE, CREST, or GIAC are advantageous.
