Operations Supervisor - Fulfillment
As an Operations Supervisor at Vention, you will play a pivotal role in our fulfillment operations, ensuring that our innovative hardware and industrial automation solutions are delivered to customers swiftly and accurately. This position involves leading a high-performing team and collaborating with cross-functional partners to enhance our logistics processes. Vention, headquartered in Montreal and Berlin, is dedicated to helping manufacturers automate their operations efficiently, serving over 4,000 factories across five continents.
In this role, you will empower and lead your fulfillment team, fostering a collaborative environment across picking, packing, and receiving to meet daily milestones. You will optimize order flow by monitoring performance in real-time and making agile adjustments to labor and resources. Ensuring that every package meets our accuracy standards and shipping commitments is crucial. Additionally, you will coach team members on Lean practices and safety protocols, coordinate with other supervisors for seamless handoffs, and proactively address operational challenges to drive continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of leadership experience in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to maintain smooth operations and keep the team motivated. Comfort in a high-growth setting, adaptability to changing priorities, and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or the ability to quickly learn new digital tools are important. A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to contribute meaningfully are also valued.
