Operations Specialist - Driver - Windsor, ON

In Windsor, Ontario, Bird is seeking an Operations Specialist to support its electric vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient deployment and maintenance to meet the city's transportation needs.
As an Operations Specialist in Windsor, your primary responsibilities will include safely driving, loading, and unloading vehicles to deploy or retrieve scooters following mobile app routes. You will relocate scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas to maximize rider access and perform basic diagnostics and quality checks on scooters and e-bikes to ensure safety. Additionally, you will operate a smartphone and internal apps while multitasking in a fast-paced environment to meet daily goals, assist with warehouse tasks, and support fleet staging to maintain an organized operational flow.
To qualify for this role, you must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a minimum of two years of driving experience. Proficiency in English and comfort using smartphone applications while on the move are essential. The ability to lift and transport objects up to 50 lbs is required, and you must be able to work weekends and holidays. Familiarity with Windsor’s local streets and neighborhoods is considered a plus, as is flexibility for varied shift work. Experience in delivery, logistics, rideshare, or warehouse work is highly desired.
