Operations Project Manager- Global Merchandising
The Operations Project Manager- Global Merchandising role at Fever is central to driving efficiency, scalability, and excellence across the company's experiences. This position involves leading strategic, cross-functional projects and coordinating a team in Madrid to ensure strong operational execution aligned with business objectives. With Fever's expanding global retail activities, the focus is on overseeing the full merchandising lifecycle, including planning, forecasting, logistics, inventory management, and sales performance. Collaboration with Sales, Production, Marketing, Finance, and Onsite teams is essential to gain a comprehensive understanding of event operations and to enhance merchandising support for their success.
Key responsibilities include leading a high-performing team by setting clear priorities, strengthening operational excellence, and fostering collaboration with internal and external partners. The role entails managing end-to-end merchandising operations across various partners and events, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and operational alignment. Additionally, the position requires overseeing strategic planning and financial governance, including forecasting, budgeting, P&Ls, pricing frameworks, and order strategies to maintain accuracy and operational rigor. Redesigning, optimizing, and automating merchandising processes to establish scalable workflows for forecasting, inventory control, logistics, data management, and reporting is also a critical aspect. Managing supply chain, logistics, and inventory operations to ensure visibility, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the merchandise lifecycle, as well as driving cross-functional project management to coordinate timely execution and process consistency, are key duties.
The ideal candidate holds a degree with a project management background and thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility, attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities. Required qualifications include 3 to 4+ years of relevant experience in consulting, operations, analytics, supply chain, merchandising, or similar fields, along with experience managing teams in dynamic settings. Previous experience in retail or merchandising, particularly in areas such as forecasting, budgeting, inventory control, or logistics, is preferred. The candidate should excel at cross-functional coordination, managing complex stakeholder environments, and building strong working relationships internally and externally. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with additional languages considered a plus. Strong analytical and organizational skills, comfort working with data, KPIs, P&Ls, and operational dashboards, a solution-focused mindset, excellent communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to manage high workloads and multiple workstreams in parallel are essential attributes.
