Operations Manager
Kearns Rotolo Law, a distinguished full-service law firm based in Lebanon, NJ, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the modernization and streamlining of its operations. With over 30 years of service across New Jersey, the firm is renowned for its compassionate and tenacious legal advocacy in areas such as criminal defense, family law, personal injury, and DUI cases. The Operations Manager will report directly to the Managing Partner and Office Manager, playing a pivotal role in transforming strategic insights into actionable improvements through operational systems, advanced case management, AI integration, and coordinated marketing efforts.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews of current processes, standardizing workflows, and documenting standard operating procedures across the firm. Key duties include acting as the bridge between Crisp strategies and their execution firm-wide, ensuring team adoption of systems and key performance indicators (KPIs). The role also involves developing performance metrics and career pathways, creating clear accountability and growth tracks for staff. Additionally, the Operations Manager will lead the selection and implementation of a case management infrastructure, enhance data tracking and reporting capabilities, identify and introduce AI tools to optimize workflows, and coordinate existing marketing efforts to assess return on investment and streamline processes.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in operations leadership within a small professional services setting, preferably in the legal field. Technical agility is essential, with proficiency in implementing case management systems and leveraging operational software tools. A data-driven approach is required, with skills in data analysis, dashboard creation, and using insights to inform operational improvements. Familiarity with AI tools and their practical applications in enhancing operational efficiency is also important. Strong communication skills are necessary to manage team dynamics and drive accountability across various roles. A flexible mindset is valued, with comfort in a collaborative setting and willingness to engage in hands-on work. Experience managing marketing operations and evaluating performance strategies is a plus, as is an understanding of CRISP methodologies and performance frameworks.
