Onboarding Engineer (MSP Experience)- Primarily Remote with Monthly Travel
Latitude Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Onboarding Engineer to lead the successful integration of new clients into our managed services environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth transitions by assessing, designing, and implementing secure, scalable IT infrastructures tailored to client needs. The position is primarily remote, with monthly travel commitments of 3-5 days to client sites.
Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end onboarding projects, assessing client environments to identify risks and optimization opportunities, and designing and implementing Microsoft 365 environments such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. The Onboarding Engineer will also deploy and manage Microsoft Azure resources, migrate users and data to Microsoft platforms, configure and support Azure Active Directory, and evaluate and implement network infrastructures including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and wireless solutions. Thorough documentation of onboarding processes and collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs are essential aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, with strong expertise in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in network engineering, including the configuration and support of Azure Active Directory, is required. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential. Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach are also critical for success in this role.
Latitude Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
