Ohio Growth & Engagement Lead
Peregrine Technologies is seeking an Ohio Growth & Engagement Lead to drive our expansion across the state by establishing strategic relationships with state leaders and converting these connections into tangible market outcomes. This role is pivotal in aligning Peregrine's AI-enabled solutions with Ohio's public safety and governmental priorities, facilitating the deployment of our technology to enhance decision-making processes.
The primary responsibilities include identifying and developing opportunities with major Ohio agencies, such as OHAGO, OHSP, OHEMA, and OHDRC, to address complex challenges. The role involves serving as Peregrine's representative to state and local officials, influencers, and external partners, building trusted relationships that lead to concrete deployments. Additionally, the position requires mapping Ohio's strategic priorities to Peregrine's products, transforming policy developments and funding opportunities into revenue-generating initiatives.
Candidates should possess a deep understanding of the issues facing the public safety community and state and local governments, coupled with a passion for solving these challenges at scale. A minimum of 7 years of experience in government partnerships, public-sector business development, or state-level strategy within Ohio is required. Proven ability to translate government priorities and funding flows into commercial opportunities, along with strong relationships or familiarity with Ohio state agencies and their decision-making processes, is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills are also necessary.
The compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 to $180,000 annually, with additional benefits, equity options, and potential bonuses. Actual compensation is influenced by factors such as skill set, experience level, and specific work location.
