Offensive Security Engineer

CoreWeave is seeking an experienced Offensive Security Engineer to join its Information Security team. This role focuses on enhancing the security of CoreWeave's internal and external infrastructure and application offerings, which provide high-performance computing solutions to customers. The engineer will act as a liaison between product, engineering, and security teams to ensure that CoreWeave's technologies are robust and secure.

The primary responsibilities include performing penetration testing, conducting threat modeling, and executing red and purple team exercises. The engineer will also be responsible for code and design reviews, researching emerging hacking techniques, and developing strategies to mitigate potential threats. Additionally, the role involves creating and enforcing security best practices and standards to maintain compliance and strengthen the organization's security posture.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience in offensive information security roles and proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Go, Python, or C/C++. Experience with penetration testing, offensive security tooling, Kubernetes security measures, and Linux operating systems is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills are also required.

The base salary for this position ranges from $165,000 to $242,000, with additional discretionary bonuses and equity awards.
