Nuclear Engineering Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project
We are seeking a Nuclear Engineering Specialist to join our team as an AI Trainer. In this role, you will collaborate with advanced language models to enhance their understanding of nuclear engineering concepts. As a Nuclear Engineering Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include engaging with AI models on topics such as reactor physics, radiation transport, nuclear fuel cycle analysis, thermal hydraulics, reactor safety, nuclear materials, radiation shielding, and nuclear instrumentation. You will assess the models' responses for factual accuracy and logical coherence, identify and document errors, and provide feedback to improve prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
The ideal candidate will possess a master's or PhD in nuclear engineering or a closely related field. Experience in peer-reviewed publications, hands-on reactor research, nuclear facility operations, or computational modeling projects is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly are essential for success in this role.
This is a remote, contract position offering an hourly rate between $8 and $65, depending on experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, you will need to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet connection.
