NoSQL Consultant
Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in NoSQL databases to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins Scientific, EITSI functions as a Global Software Delivery Center, developing next-generation Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), customer portals, e-commerce solutions, ERP/CRM systems, mobile applications, and other B2B platforms for various Eurofins laboratories and businesses.
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing distributed data models using Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB to support large-scale, high-throughput applications. Your day-to-day activities will include defining partitioning, indexing, and data distribution strategies for optimal scalability and performance, conducting deep query analysis, index optimization, and RU/cost optimization in Cosmos DB, and implementing profiling, query tuning, and aggregation optimization in MongoDB. Additionally, you will build automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and scaling, and integrate database monitoring and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor and MongoDB Ops Manager.
The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in database engineering, architecture, or backend data systems, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB in production environments. A deep understanding of Cosmos DB features such as partition key design, RU/s provisioning, indexing, consistency models, TTL, and multi-region replication is essential. Similarly, expertise in MongoDB aspects like replica sets, sharding, indexing strategies, aggregation pipelines, schema optimization, and tuning is required. Proven ability to design for high concurrency, low latency, and multi-tenant SaaS systems, along with experience in query profiling, performance benchmarking, and monitoring dashboards, is also necessary.
