NMR Spectroscopist

Eurofins Selcia Limited is seeking an NMR Spectroscopist to join its Analytical Support group. This role focuses on conducting analytical studies primarily on small molecules, supporting both internal chemistry functions and contract analytical projects. Eurofins Selcia is a contract research organization specializing in custom radiochemistry and isotope labeling services, with a clientele that includes leading companies in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical, and Specialty Chemicals sectors across Europe, North America, and Japan.

The NMR Spectroscopist will be responsible for operating NMR instruments, utilizing processing software, interpreting spectra, and applying multidimensional NMR methods for the structural elucidation and characterization of organic compounds. Experience with Bruker NMR spectrometers, including their maintenance and upkeep, is advantageous. While prior experience in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments is desirable, comprehensive training will be provided.

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. or a graduate degree in chemistry or a related field, along with hands-on experience in NMR spectroscopy, ranging from 1 to 5 years in the industry. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines and a keen attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a strong customer-focused approach and the ability to coordinate within interdisciplinary teams, are essential.
