NMR Characterization Scientist
Eurofins is seeking an NMR Characterization Scientist to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves working within a dynamic team dedicated to providing analytical testing services across multiple industries, ensuring product safety and authenticity. Eurofins is a global leader in food, environmental, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic product testing, operating over 900 laboratories in 62 countries.
The NMR Characterization Scientist will be responsible for conducting Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy to analyze and characterize various substances. Key responsibilities include performing Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectroscopy, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Static Light Scattering (SLS), Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) Spectroscopy, Infrared (IR) Spectroscopy, and buffer preparation. Adherence to Good Documentation Practices is essential.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field with 2-4 years of industry experience, or a Master's/PhD degree with up to 2 years of experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary to interface with multiple clients simultaneously. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude are essential. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is required.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.65 to $25.88, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, vision and dental insurance, disability insurance, and paid holidays. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with potential for overtime, weekend, and holiday work based on business needs.
