Network Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales) - Cloud Networking

Arista Networks is seeking a self-motivated Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer to provide technical support for customers and prospects in Norway. This role is integral to the Arista Sales team, acting as a trusted advisor to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and design innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities include partnering with Account Managers to understand and address customer challenges, conducting network architectural sessions, and presenting Arista's product offerings. The engineer will architect and propose Data Center, Routing, and Campus network solutions, perform hands-on customer proof-of-concepts, and lead technical responses to RFPs and RFQs. Additionally, the role involves providing feedback to Product Management, representing Arista at industry events, and authoring technical content.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, proactive team player with a technical degree and experience in networking design and implementation. Proficiency in routing and switching protocols, recent experience in Data Center or Campus network architecture, and excellent presentation skills are essential. Fluency in Norwegian and English is required, along with a strong understanding of the competitive technology landscape. Hands-on CLI experience and familiarity with NetOps/DevOps tools like Python and Ansible are highly desired.
