Network Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales)

Arista Networks is seeking a collaborative and self-motivated Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer to join our team. This role involves partnering with Account Managers to provide technical systems engineering support for our hyperscale customers. As a trusted advisor, you will gather requirements and identify opportunities with both existing and new clients.

Key responsibilities include conducting whiteboard network architectural reviews, delivering Arista product presentations, and designing Data Center and Campus network solutions using leaf-spine architectures with VxLAN and EVPN overlays. You will also perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups and network deployments, as well as provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a BS/CS/CE technical degree and have a minimum of 7 years of experience in L2/L3 networking design and implementation, focusing on Data Center, Campus, and Wi-Fi solutions. Expertise in routing and switching, including L2/L3 protocols, and recent experience in leaf-spine architecture design are essential. Proficiency in network automation using Python and Ansible is highly desired.
