Network Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales)

Arista Networks is seeking a collaborative and self-motivated Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Account Managers to provide technical systems engineering support for our hyperscale customers. As a trusted advisor, you will gather requirements and identify opportunities with both existing and new clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting whiteboard network architectural reviews, delivering Arista product presentations, and designing Data Center and Campus network solutions using leaf-spine architectures with VxLAN and EVPN overlays. Additionally, you will perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups and network deployments, as well as provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in L2/L3 networking design and implementation, focusing on Data Center, Campus, and Wi-Fi solutions. A strong understanding of cloud networking principles, experience with network automation using Python and Ansible, and expert-level knowledge of routing and switching protocols are essential. A BS/CS/CE technical degree is required, and industry certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE are preferred.
