Network Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales)

Arista Networks is seeking a self-motivated Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer to provide technical support for customers and prospects in Germany. This role is integral to the Arista Sales team, acting as a trusted advisor to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and design innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities include partnering with Account Managers to understand and address customer challenges, conducting network architectural sessions and product presentations, and designing Arista Data Center, Routing, and Campus network and security solutions. The role also involves performing hands-on customer proof-of-concepts, leading technical responses to RFPs, and providing feedback to Product Management and Development.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, proactive, and flexible, with a technical degree and experience in networking design and implementation. Proficiency in routing and switching protocols, recent experience in Data Center, Routing, or Campus network architecture designs, and excellent presentation skills are essential. Fluency in German and English is required, along with the ability to travel nationally or to neighboring countries as needed.
