Network Engineer
Peregrine Technologies is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in San Francisco, CA. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our networking strategy and establishing the foundation of our networking technology. Our company leverages AI-enabled platforms to transform disconnected data into operational intelligence, serving hundreds of customers across multiple states and countries.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers to establish network connectivity, ensuring the performance and reliability of network services. Your responsibilities will include implementing and troubleshooting IPSec/VPN services, collaborating with Deployment Strategists during the data ingestion process, and developing comprehensive documentation such as topology diagrams and standard operating procedures. Participation in on-call duties will also be required to maintain continuous network operations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a related field, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Proficiency in AWS or other cloud-native network architectures, core network protocols, and experience with Kubernetes architecture and virtualization technologies are essential. Familiarity with network implementation patterns across organizations of varying sizes is also desired.
Peregrine Technologies offers a competitive salary range of $137,000 to $210,000 annually, complemented by benefits, equity options, and potential bonuses.
