Arista Networks is seeking a Network Advanced Services Engineer to join our Cloud Services team, focusing on the post-sales success of our most strategic customers. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical authority, ensuring robust network designs, seamless deployments, and optimized operations within large-scale Data Center, Campus, and WAN environments. This position is based in the Pacific Northwest region, with alternate locations in Spokane, WA, and Portland, OR.

Your primary responsibilities will include translating complex business requirements into scalable and secure network architectures, creating and reviewing comprehensive network designs, and leading complex migration projects from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba to Arista's EOS®-based infrastructure. Additionally, you will develop and implement network automation workflows using Python, Ansible, and other DevOps frameworks to streamline configurations and operations. Acting as a technical advocate for the customer, you will interface with Arista TAC and internal development teams to address technical issues and feature requests.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A Network Industry Certification (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, ACE-3/4/5) is highly preferred. You should have 5-7+ years of experience in network engineering, consulting, or professional services, focusing on large-scale enterprise, data center, or service provider environments. Expert-level knowledge of core networking fundamentals, including the TCP/IP protocol stack, IP Routing (BGP, OSPF), and L2 switching (VxLAN/EVPN), is essential. Hands-on experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is highly desired.

Arista offers a competitive base salary ranging from $113,000 to $175,000, depending on skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity. US-based employees are also entitled to benefits, including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings, and income protection.
