Nanofabrication back end technician / technicien(ne) laboratoire / process backend F/H

Alice & Bob is seeking a Nanofabrication Back End Technician to join our Quantum Hardware department. This role is integral to the development of our quantum processors, focusing on the back-end processes essential for manufacturing our cutting-edge quantum computing hardware.

The technician will be responsible for executing daily operations, including room temperature electrical testing of wafers and chips, dicing, cleaning, optical inspection, wirebonding of chips inside sample holders, assembly of sample holders, and failure analysis. Additionally, the role involves contributing to process development by participating in R&D tests to improve processes and recipes, staying abreast of the latest technological advancements.

Candidates should possess a BSc in a related field, such as DUT "Electronique," "Mesures physiques," "Génie industriel et maintenance," or equivalent. A minimum of three years of experience as a laboratory or operations technician in an industrial or R&D environment is required. Experience in semiconductor, electronic, or cryogenic environments, as well as familiarity with backend processes like wirebonding, dicing, and electrical testing, is advantageous. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong adherence to processes, autonomy, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Intermediate English proficiency is necessary for effective communication with the Alice & Bob team and suppliers.
