Multimodal Sensing Test Engineer

Helsing, a defense AI company, is seeking a Multimodal Sensing Test Engineer to join their Optics Cluster within the Test Department in Munich. This role involves acting as a sensing system architect for testing, translating requirements into structured test cases, and managing the full lifecycle of multimodal sensor characterization and calibration for defense AI systems. The position requires a deep understanding of electro-optical (EO), long-wave infrared (LWIR), and LiDAR systems, as well as expertise in sensor synchronization and calibration.
