Multilingual Service Desk Engineer
Eurofins is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Multilingual Service Desk Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for IT support, assisting a diverse community of users across Europe. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratories, offices, and VIP users across more than 500 sites.
As a Service Desk Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include providing first-line IT support to end users, troubleshooting technical issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and Windows 10/11 environments, and supporting identity and access management processes. Additionally, you will assist with printing services, patching activities, and basic application triage and routing. Logging, categorizing, and tracking incidents using ticketing systems, as well as escalating complex issues to second-line support teams when necessary, will also be key aspects of your role.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a Service Desk or IT support environment, with solid troubleshooting skills in Windows systems and Microsoft 365. Strong communication skills in English, French, and Spanish are essential, along with a customer-focused mindset and a proactive attitude. A secondary school diploma is required, and familiarity with technologies such as Active Directory, Azure, or ITIL practices would be advantageous.
