Motion Designer

Monks is seeking a Senior Motion Graphics Designer to join our team in Mexico City. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative and engaging visual content for social and digital platforms. We are looking for a tech-focused designer with a strong passion for music, entertainment, and pop culture, who can consistently deliver high-quality visuals under tight deadlines.

As a Senior Motion Graphics Designer, you will edit and animate campaign and social content for a top-name brand. Your responsibilities will include designing and animating titles, end cards, and accompanying graphics for various platforms, as well as creating social media posts from scratch or by adapting existing assets. You will collaborate closely with art directors to conceptualize creative solutions for clients, stay updated with the latest design and animation techniques, and ensure compliance with guidelines, deadlines, and design standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of agency advertising experience and be a self-starter who can bring new ideas to the table. Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects, including expression writing and template creation, is required, along with solid experience in Cinema 4D or other 3D tools. Strong design fundamentals, such as typography, composition, timing, and visual storytelling, are essential. The ability to troubleshoot technical issues in both 2D and 3D workflows and to work comfortably in a macOS environment is also necessary. Advanced English proficiency is essential for this role.
