Mold/Asbestos Analyst - $5K Sign-on Bonus - Eurofins Built Environment Testing, Las Vegas, NV
Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking a Mold/Asbestos Analyst to join our Las Vegas, NV team. As part of Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in analytical testing services, our division focuses on ensuring the safety and health of built environments through comprehensive testing solutions.
In this role, you will prepare and analyze environmental samples for asbestos and fungi using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) and other methodologies. Responsibilities include accurately entering data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), performing independent data reviews, analyzing quality control samples, and assisting in maintaining laboratory accreditations. Additionally, you will provide technical support to clients and collaborate with the Quality Assurance manager to develop and implement QA processes.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in biology, geology, or a closely related science, along with at least one year of experience in asbestos PLM and/or mold analysis. Preferred qualifications include completion of 8 units of microbiology courses, familiarity with regulatory requirements, and proficiency in computer applications such as spreadsheets and databases. Strong organizational and scientific skills are essential.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21 to $26, depending on experience and qualifications. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates with one year or more of relevant experience.
