ML Engineer Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Designing new benchmark tasks by identifying datasets, analyzing state-of-the-art papers, building evaluation scripts, and providing reference implementations will also be key aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will improve training datasets by delivering structured feedback to make AI outputs more accurate, reliable, and useful.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, or data science. Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, probabilistic modeling, and applied NLP is essential. Proficiency in Python, machine learning frameworks, and cloud-based workflows is required. A Master's or PhD in computer science, machine learning, or data science is preferred, along with peer-reviewed research or experience in production ML systems. Clear communication skills and the ability to explain reasoning and "show your work" are crucial for success in this role.

This is a remote, contract-based position offering flexibility and autonomy to set your schedule. Compensation ranges from $30 to $50 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location.
