As a Mid Market Account Executive at Rootly, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's sales trajectory by building a robust book of business across North America. This position offers the unique opportunity to be among the first in this role, contributing significantly to the development and refinement of the sales process within a dynamic startup environment. Rootly is dedicated to enhancing organizational reliability through its industry-leading incident management platform, trusted by prominent companies worldwide.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include sourcing and closing full sales cycles for opportunities ranging from $25,000 to $100,000, targeting companies with up to 1,000 employees. You will be expected to position Rootly as the preferred Incident Management and On-Call platform for mid-market segments, design and present product narratives to executives, lead product workshops, and prepare ROI analyses. Additionally, you will contribute to team projects aimed at developing and refining the overall sales process.

The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience selling enterprise software to SMB and mid-market accounts, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas. A consultative selling approach, strong communication skills both remotely and in-person, and the ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial and pricing agreements are essential. Comfort with conveying the value of technical B2B SaaS solutions to technical stakeholders and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment are also key qualifications.
