The role also involves identifying process improvements, recommending new equipment, and maintaining inventory levels to support laboratory operations.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science degree and have substantial knowledge of microbiological testing methods, materials, and equipment. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to manage and schedule team activities effectively. Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing clinical laboratories is required.
