Method Development Scientist with Instrument Troubleshooting Experience
Eurofins is seeking a Method Development Scientist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves conducting high-complexity analytical and biochemical testing, including research projects, method development, and validation, within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality analytical services.
Key responsibilities include performing and troubleshooting a variety of analytical assays such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Capillary Electrophoresis (CE), and various compendial and particulate testing methods. The scientist will provide technical leadership, assign tasks to staff, serve as the primary contact with client project leads, and ensure the quality and accuracy of data through thorough evaluation and communication.
Candidates should possess a Ph.D. or Master's degree with 4-6 years of industry experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience. Essential skills include advanced technical and reasoning abilities, effective oral and written communication, precision in documentation, and a proactive approach to quality control and safety procedures. The ability to diagnose and resolve complex laboratory or equipment issues independently is also required.
