Red Cell Partners is seeking a Principal Full Stack Machine Learning Engineer to join their venture studio engineering team. In this pivotal role, the engineer will lead the design and development of production-grade, end-to-end applications that integrate artificial intelligence at their core. The position involves architecting the complete user journey, encompassing intuitive front-end interfaces, robust back-end services, and scalable machine learning pipelines.

Key responsibilities include rapidly prototyping and scaling full-stack applications to ensure seamless integration between user interfaces, business logic, and machine learning inference. The engineer will design modular and extensible system architectures that facilitate rapid iteration while minimizing technical debt. Additionally, the role involves leading code reviews across the technology stack, serving as an escalation point for engineering, infrastructure, and security decisions, and identifying scalability bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities with corresponding remediation strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with 8–10 years of software development experience, demonstrating a track record of shipping full-stack products from inception to completion. Expert proficiency in React/TypeScript and backend systems such as Python, Rust, or Go, including API design, is essential. The candidate should have over five years of experience building and operating production machine learning systems with a focus on deployment and inference. Deep experience with cloud architecture and identity management in regulated environments, strong data engineering skills across various database technologies, and demonstrated experience as a technical lead or principal engineer are also required. A passion for staying at the forefront of AI advancements and incorporating cutting-edge capabilities into production systems is highly valued. U.S. citizenship is mandatory to support work on government contracts and controlled environments.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 to $300,000, depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Benefits include 100% employer-paid comprehensive healthcare for employees and their families, 14 weeks of paid maternity and paternity leave at normal pay, unlimited paid time off with management approval, opportunities for professional development and continued learning, optional 401(k), FSA, and equity incentives, as well as mental health benefits through Tara Mind and cost-effective GLP-1 solutions through Crux.
