WPP Media is seeking a curious Media Planning Intern to join our dynamic team in Milan. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a core media planning unit, collaborating on campaigns for our most important clients. You will acquire comprehensive knowledge of media planning, from strategic development and campaign management to performance analysis, while actively contributing to projects that deliver measurable client success.

As a Media Planning Intern, you will provide essential support in the planning phase, including gathering market intelligence, researching audience insights, and assisting with media channel selection based on campaign objectives. You will actively support the team in monitoring campaign performance, identifying opportunities for optimization, and contributing to post-campaign analysis to derive actionable insights. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive quantitative and qualitative reports and assist in interpreting data trends to inform strategic adjustments. Collaboration with Communication Planners will be key, supporting in-depth campaign analysis and contributing to the formulation of data-driven recommendations for future media strategies.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Economics, Marketing and Communication, or Foreign Languages, with an anticipated graduation date within one year. A data-driven mindset and genuine curiosity for understanding market dynamics and consumer behavior through data are essential, along with an eagerness to learn how to translate findings into strategic recommendations. A genuine interest in media and advertising is important. Excellent command of both written and spoken English is required, as you will actively engage with international clients and campaigns; fluency in Italian is also necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is expected, and any knowledge of media research tools or ad-serving platforms will be considered a significant plus.
