Media Manager (based in Melbourne)
FeverUp is seeking a Media Manager based in Melbourne to plan and execute global event media strategies across various markets and time zones. This role focuses on driving attendance, revenue, and brand impact through traditional marketing channels. The Media Manager will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing the way people engage with live entertainment.
Key responsibilities include growing and optimizing existing media-outlet relationships to establish successful and long-term partnerships. The Media Manager will execute media strategies and tactics, research media opportunities, and present findings to internal and external partners. Additionally, the role involves identifying new opportunities within the media market, managing new activations from commercial negotiations through to technical integrations and optimizations, maintaining accurate control of budget spend on campaigns related to positive ROI objectives, analyzing work needs related to external media, and ensuring the completion and delivery of projects on time.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in traditional media (OOH, TV, Radio), ideally with event or time-bound campaigns. A diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications is required. Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English is essential, and a second language such as Spanish, Italian, German, French, or Portuguese is a plus. The candidate should understand the role and potential of alternative marketing and media options within the overall marketing mix to integrate them with specific brand goals and objectives. Experience in both media planning and buying, along with the ability to stay ahead of the ever-evolving media landscape, is important. Experience in affiliate marketing is a plus. The candidate should be dynamic, proactive, ambitious, solution-focused, and possess a positive attitude.
