Mechanical NPI Engineer

Arista Networks is seeking a Mechanical New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to drive products from concept to high-volume manufacturing. This role involves close collaboration with Engineering, Platform Design, Contract Manufacturing partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches. The engineer will also design and develop tooling, test fixtures, and jigs to support scalable, high-volume production.

Key responsibilities include leading NPI activities from prototype builds through production ramp, developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, and applying electromechanical manufacturing expertise to drive design for manufacturability and cost improvements. The role also involves conducting root cause analysis for quality and process issues, leading assembly process development, and managing product lifecycle documentation and workflows.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years of experience in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing Product, Process, or NPI Engineering in an electronics manufacturing environment. Expertise in networking products related to routing, switching, and data centers is essential. Proficiency in engineering change order processes, design for manufacturability principles, and knowledge of basic manufacturing processes such as CNC machining and injection molding are required. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred.

The base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $175,000, with additional eligibility for discretionary bonuses and equity. Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location to provide consistent and competitive compensation.
