Mechanical Assembler
As a Mechanical Assembler at Vention, you will be an integral part of our Operations team, responsible for assembling high-quality sub-assemblies and productized applications. In this hands-on role, your primary responsibilities will include assembling a variety of components, ranging from simple to complex systems such as palletizers, conveyors, robot cells, machine tending applications, and safety enclosures, all based on engineering instructions. You will also build and integrate automation components to complete custom automation designs, conduct quality control checks before shipping to ensure all products meet Vention's high standards, pick and pack orders in accordance with our quality standards, identify and report discrepancies or missing information to maintain accuracy and efficiency, support team members in troubleshooting mechanical or process-related issues, and contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing integration and warehouse processes.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of pneumatics and electrical connections, have 2 to 3 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment with technical experience, hold a technical diploma in mechanical engineering, robotics, or relevant hands-on experience, demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with using tools, including familiarity with pneumatics and electrical connections, have experience with data entry or relevant administrative tasks, show a proven track record in problem-solving and the ability to coach others through challenges, exhibit exceptional attention to detail to uphold customer satisfaction and product quality, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
