MBSE System Architect
BESIX Unitec is seeking an MBSE System Architect to develop and manage system architectures for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). The role involves structuring requirements, functions, interfaces, and behaviors into a structured SysML model within Enterprise Architect, ensuring alignment with ISO 15288 principles throughout the system development process.
Key responsibilities include leading system engineers within project teams, guiding them in MBSE methodologies, coordinating with project management, engineers, clients, and suppliers to achieve feasible designs, maintaining traceability of requirements and design decisions, and conducting system-oriented design reviews to support integration, verification, and validation activities.
Candidates should possess a completed HBO or WO degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Systems Engineering, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in complex technical projects, preferably within infrastructure sectors such as railways, tunnels, or bridges. Proven experience with MBSE, particularly using SysML in Enterprise Architect, is essential, along with a solid understanding of ISO 15288 standards and Systems Engineering principles. Leadership or coordination experience in multidisciplinary project teams is also required.
