Mathematics Specialist (Fluent in Italian) - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Invisible Agency is seeking a Mathematics Specialist fluent in Italian to contribute to the advancement of artificial intelligence. This role involves collaborating with a team dedicated to enhancing large-scale language models, transforming them into powerful tools for scientific discovery and education. The company focuses on providing high-quality training data to develop AI systems capable of democratizing education and streamlining academic work globally.

The Mathematics Specialist will engage with advanced language models on topics such as algebra, calculus, number theory, linear algebra, differential equations, statistics, geometry, mathematical logic, and discrete mathematics. Responsibilities include conversing with the model on classroom problems and theoretical questions, verifying factual accuracy and logical soundness, capturing reproducible error traces, and suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Ideal candidates possess a master's or PhD in mathematics or a closely related quantitative field. Experience in peer-reviewed publications, teaching, research in pure or applied mathematics, or hands-on mathematical modeling is highly valued. Clear, metacognitive communication skills are essential, as the role requires effectively "showing your work" to enhance model reasoning.

This is a remote, contract position with a pay range of $6 to $65 per hour, determined based on experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, the specialist is expected to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and paid time off do not apply.
