Material Planning Manager
Graphcore is seeking a Material Planning Manager to join its Supply Chain group in Hsinchu, Taiwan. This role is integral to the company's operations, focusing on the planning and execution of material readiness in collaboration with contracted manufacturing partners. The successful candidate will report to the Supply Chain Director and contribute to Graphcore's mission of building the future of AI compute.
The Material Planning Manager will be responsible for driving demand forecasting, production planning, and material requirements for PCBA production. This includes planning, scheduling, and monitoring deliveries to ensure material readiness aligns with established production schedules and delivery commitments. The role also involves analyzing material readiness, identifying and resolving supply and demand imbalances, and performing scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of production capacity, material availability, demand fluctuations, and cost factors. Additionally, the manager will prepare periodic material-related reports for the management team and develop benchmark metrics to monitor and evaluate supply chain performance.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the high-tech industry. A strong understanding of material planning processes and familiarity with electronic component suppliers and OEM/ODM partners are essential. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel (including VBA), data modeling, automation, ERP systems, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Superset. Proficiency in English and Chinese is highly preferred due to the location and potential interaction with local suppliers and OEM partners. Strong communication and reporting skills are also necessary.
