Divergent is seeking a Material Planner to support production readiness by planning material requirements, releasing supply from blanket purchase orders, and managing the flow of materials through vendors. This role works closely with Production, Engineering, and Procurement to ensure materials are available to support stable, reliable schedules.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining material plans that support production schedules, releasing material from blanket purchase agreements based on demand signals, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, managing the flow of sub-components through vendors, resolving shortages or quality issues promptly, contributing to cost-reduction initiatives, and identifying inefficiencies to enhance material flow and schedule reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, experience in an ITAR/DFAR environment, strong analytical skills, proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and ERP systems, and the ability to work in a cross-functional group. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, business, or a supply chain-related major, 5+ years of supply chain experience, experience in the automotive industry, advanced Excel and Power BI skills, experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, and APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP).

The compensation for this role ranges from $81,900 to $112,610, with a holistic compensation package that includes a competitive salary, equity plan, and discretionary results-based incentive bonus opportunities.
