Monks is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to lead thought leadership and content development across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This role is pivotal in shaping compelling narratives that position Monks as a leader in marketing, technology, and culture. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to develop high-quality content, amplify key events, and establish a consistent and credible voice in the industry.

Key responsibilities include leading the development of thought leadership content, such as articles, opinion pieces, LinkedIn posts, and executive narratives on topics like AI, commerce, social media, content, and technology. The role also involves supporting awards strategy and submissions across APAC, managing event content and amplification, identifying media opportunities, and building relationships with relevant media contacts. Additionally, the manager will work with the Marketing VP to establish a consistent content cadence across markets and ensure alignment with global messaging while localizing for APAC relevance.

The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years of experience in PR, content, editorial, or communications, with exceptional writing and editing skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus. A strong understanding of the marketing, advertising, and media landscape is essential, along with the ability to work with senior stakeholders and translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content. The candidate should be highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
