Manufacturing Engineer, Bac Ninh, Vietnam
Arista Networks is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Bac Ninh, Vietnam. This role involves collaborating with industry pioneers and world-class engineers to redefine modern networking solutions for data centers, AI infrastructure, and cloud environments. The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Platform Design, Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners, and other business functions to drive product quality, process efficiency, and yield improvements.
Key responsibilities include managing and driving quality metrics such as yields, scrap rates, and component fallout. The Manufacturing Engineer will lead initiatives to address line stops, purges, and quality issues, as well as drive product failure debugging activities to minimize scrap rates. Additionally, the role involves assessing the technical capabilities of manufacturing personnel, providing hardware debug mentorship to CM test engineers and technicians, and ensuring the production site receives the necessary product training.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment, preferably in high-mix, low-volume PCBA and box build settings. A BS or MS degree is required, along with strong leadership capabilities, including experience in managing, recruiting, developing, and coaching employees. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Malay are essential. The candidate must be results-oriented, possess sound business judgment, and demonstrate strong strategic thinking and analytical skills. Experience in production process metric implementation, yield management, product quality, and test capacity management is also required.
