Manufacturing Debug Engineer
As a Manufacturing Debug Engineer at Arista Networks, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our networking switches. This position involves close collaboration with both manufacturing and engineering teams to identify and resolve issues throughout the production process, maintaining our commitment to delivering top-tier products.
Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing your electronics expertise to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and firmware issues in networking switches. You will interpret schematic diagrams to diagnose electronic and connectivity problems, effectively use programming tools to load and verify firmware, and understand the manufacturing process from PCB assembly to high-level testing. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient debugging, conduct root cause analyses, maintain detailed records of debugging activities, and work on process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of electronics fundamentals. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams, experience with debugging hardware and firmware issues, and familiarity with programming tools are essential. Knowledge of manufacturing processes from PCB assembly to system-level testing, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are also required. Willingness to collaborate with global EMS partners and provide training and support as needed is important.
