ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Manager, Treasury Capital Markets, you will work as a strategic partner within the Treasury team and interact directly with banking partners, lenders, investors, fintechs, capital markets counterparties, and key functional leaders within Wealthsimple to support Treasury initiatives and broader product launches. As a trusted advisor, you will provide advice and collaborate with leaders in product, operations, trading, finance, legal, regulatory & compliance to find creative solutions to complex problems. You are adaptable, flexible, and thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment where two days rarely look the same.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead strategic negotiations with banks, fintechs, and capital markets counterparties to support both Treasury initiatives and Wealthsimple's product ecosystem.
- Build and scale strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, and capital markets players to unlock new product capabilities and accelerate growth.
- Manage Wealtsimple’s Treasury investment portfolio to propose investment plan, execute strategy, monitor and optimize portfolio performance on an on-going basis.
- Identify and manage Wealthsimple’s corporate foreign currency, interest rate, and equity exposure, including trade execution.
