Manager/Senior Manager, Technical Account Management – Travel Distribution (Bangkok-based)
Agoda is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager for Technical Account Management within its Travel Distribution division, based in Bangkok, Thailand. This role is integral to the Strategic Partnerships team, which focuses on developing solutions for Agoda's non-accommodation partners to drive growth and enhance the company's market presence. The successful candidate will leverage technical expertise to optimize connectivity with Agoda's largest B2B accommodation partners, contributing to the company's mission of connecting people to destinations and experiences worldwide.
The primary responsibilities include managing end-to-end technical account management for major B2B accounts, overseeing connection performance through new builds, upgrades, and daily success rates, and ensuring optimal access to inventory, rates, and content. The role also involves extracting and analyzing complex data sets to identify trends and areas for improvement, collaborating cross-functionally to influence the design of next-generation features, automating business processes for operational efficiency, and resolving technical issues impacting client connectivity.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a quantitative, engineering, or computer science field, along with 6-8+ years of experience in technical account management, solutions engineering, or similar roles within the technology or travel industries. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Excel, excellent organizational abilities, and a self-starter mentality are essential. Practical experience with API integrations and data transfers is also required.
