Manager/Senior Manager, Growth Marketing (Relocation provided, Bangkok-based)
Agoda is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager of Growth Marketing to lead the launch and scaling of a new B2C product aimed at simplifying travel spending. This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand, with relocation support provided for international candidates. The successful candidate will join Agoda's data-driven Marketing Team, renowned for its innovative approach to online marketing and customer engagement.
The primary responsibilities include co-developing the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the product team, targeting specific customer segments, and defining the product's unique selling propositions. The role involves designing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across the entire customer funnel, from acquisition and activation to engagement and retention. This includes launching and optimizing various marketing channels such as paid search, app campaigns, and affiliate programs, as well as collaborating with Product and Design teams to enhance onboarding processes and in-app messaging. Additionally, the role requires working closely with Fintech, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure all marketing communications are accurate, compliant, and user-friendly. Over time, the candidate will be expected to build and mentor a team of analysts and marketers to support the growth of this new vertical.
Candidates must have at least 8 years of marketing experience, including a minimum of 3 years in hands-on growth or direct marketing roles focused on app-based or digital products, emphasizing user acquisition and retention. Strong analytical skills are essential, with proficiency in working with data and performance metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), activation, retention, and payback periods. The ability to extract and analyze data using SQL or self-service Business Intelligence tools is required. A demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, capable of operating in ambiguous environments, establishing new processes, and taking initiative without a predefined playbook, is crucial. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are necessary, with experience collaborating across multiple teams and departments.
Preferred qualifications include experience in direct, performance, and affiliate marketing for financial products, as well as a background in fintech or financial services, such as travel cards or multicurrency wallets. Experience in launching or scaling new products or major features is also advantageous.
