Manager, Project Management
Azurity Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Manager of Project Management to join its Research and Development (R&D) team in Hyderabad, India. This role focuses on leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance R&D productivity and streamline product development processes through targeted process improvements, tool evaluation, and vendor coordination. The successful candidate will act as the functional lead to ensure that technology-enabled solutions align closely with evolving R&D needs, leveraging a strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D workflows and data.
Key responsibilities include acting as the primary liaison between R&D teams and external partners to define functional requirements related to laboratory data handling, document management, and experiment capture systems. The role involves coordinating the evaluation and refinement of existing R&D data processes to ensure consistent accessibility and usability of laboratory data. Additionally, the manager will oversee integration projects involving lab systems, define and monitor service expectations from external vendors, and provide continuous feedback to ensure tools evolve with R&D processes.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree with 3-5 years of experience working with laboratory data handling, document management, and experiment capture systems such as Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN) and Document Management Systems (DMS). A certification or course completion relevant to data management, structuring, or dashboarding is preferred. Industry and domain knowledge in pharmaceutical R&D processes, including collaboration with R&D, medical, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to solve challenging problems through modeling and simulation, is essential. Hands-on experience in the selection, evaluation, and management of tool or service providers is also required.
