Manager, Product Manager
Canonical is seeking a Manager, Product Manager to lead a team of product managers in developing and delivering innovative open-source software solutions. This role involves setting a clear vision, prioritizing work effectively, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality products that meet business and user needs. The position is home-based within the EMEA time zone.
Key responsibilities include leading the product development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales, and addressing complex technical and business challenges. The Manager will also be responsible for mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving alignment with company goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience in product management, and a passion for open-source software. Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills are essential. Familiarity with the open-source community and experience working in a distributed, remote environment are highly desirable.
