Divergent is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to lead a multi-disciplinary team in integrating advanced manufacturing technologies into production. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Divergent's manufacturing processes by implementing new methods, supporting diverse hardware, and mentoring engineers to achieve industry-leading results.

Key responsibilities include driving design-for-manufacturing initiatives, overseeing process development, and implementing advanced manufacturing methods across the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS). The manager will also oversee manufacturing requirements, process specifications, and root cause investigations to ensure reliable, high-quality production. Additionally, the role involves setting team priorities, tracking projects, and mentoring engineers to achieve critical company milestones.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related discipline, along with at least 3 years of leadership experience in manufacturing engineering and 8 years in the field, particularly within the aerospace or defense industries. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, AutoCAD) and a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) are essential. Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is also required.
