Manager, Global Product Compliance
The Manager, Global Product Compliance at Axon is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding the company's product compliance strategies across international markets. Key responsibilities include leading global product compliance efforts, managing certification programs from planning through approval, and serving as a subject matter expert on various compliance areas such as EMC, RF, electrical safety, battery safety, laser safety, wireless technologies, and environmental regulations. The manager will also build and maintain relationships with external testing laboratories, certification bodies, industry associations, and regulatory authorities, and lead internal compliance reviews and audits. Additionally, the role involves mentoring team members, strengthening compliance processes, and managing multiple certification and compliance projects with competing priorities.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or market access roles supporting complex hardware or connected technology products. Experience in global product compliance, regulatory strategy, and market access for hardware and connected products is essential, along with advanced knowledge of international regulatory frameworks and certification pathways. The ideal candidate will have deep experience leading engagement with accredited testing laboratories, certification bodies, regulatory authorities, and industry groups, and the ability to lead compliance risk assessments and interpret complex technical and regulatory requirements.
