Manager EMC and Wireless

Eurofins is seeking a Manager for its Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Wireless laboratory in Maryland. This leadership role involves overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring financial performance, and fostering a positive work environment within a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services.

The Manager will be responsible for maintaining a positive operating margin, meeting annual budgetary goals, and managing laboratory operations. Key duties include building and maintaining customer relationships, promoting a proactive safety culture, and collaborating with sales teams to drive revenue growth. The role also involves prioritizing operational activities to deliver high-quality analytical data and ensuring on-time client delivery.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) with a minimum of six years of experience in EMC testing, manufacturing, R&D, or compliance. Alternatively, a master's degree with at least four years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with ten years of directly related experience, is acceptable. Leadership experience in a laboratory or testing, inspection, and certification industry setting is required, along with expertise in EMC testing per FCC, ANSI, EN, ETSI, MIL, or RTCA standards. Familiarity with EPA, DOT, OSHA, and DOL regulations is also necessary.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid vacation and holidays. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to meet business needs.
